Dr Nirmal Singh addresses seminar in Kerala | KNO

KERALA, FEBRUARY 20 (KNO) : Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh along with Vice Chairman of J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissan, Daljit Singh Chib today attended a Seminar at Bhartiya Vichara Kendaram, Kerala on the theme "External and Internal Threats being confronting by the Nation" that was organized by the Kerala Legal Cell. While speaking in the seminar, Dr Nirmal Singh thanked the people of Kerala, the land of Gods for their overwhelming love and gesture for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He deliberated and focused on varied subjects and factors contributing to the development of the Nation as well as the factors which have posed threats to the country.

Dr Singh also threw light on the history that has led to the present turmoil in the social fabric of the Indian society. He urged the participants to play an active role in the constructive changes in the present world. He said that some anti-social elements and extremist groups are trying to destabilize the country, but these forces will never succeed in their evil designs because under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi the country is progressing steadfast and becoming strong day by day. He lauded the role of the organizers for hosting such a meaningful platform where intellectuals from various corners of the Nation participated to share their thoughts for the love of country.

On the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also honored Bhartiya Vichara Kendram Director, P Parameswar ji, who has been conferred with Padma Vibushan. A large number of people from Civil society, NGOs of Kerela participated in the seminar. Adv. K. R. Rajagopal, Adv Rajmohan G J, Dr. Jayaram, A. N. Radhakrishnan, Prof. Rajashekharan, Adv. S. Suresh, Adv. K. R. Chandra Mohan, Adv. Parabrahmam Sree Kumar and others were among the prominent dignitaries present in the seminar.(KNO)
